Safeguarding our Children
and Vulnerable Adults

The Benefice is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults and creating protective and supportive environments where all people, and especially those who may be vulnerable, are able to worship and pursue their faith journey in safety.

The Benefice, like Diocese of Portsmouth follows the national legal and procedural framework for safeguarding children and adults who may be at risk of harm, together with the national Church of England policies.
The Benefice’s Parish Policies and Procedures follow those set down by the Diocese of Portsmouth.
