At the AGM on 22nd March 2021, the trustees announced that the Meon Valley Foodbank has to move away from Bishops Waltham, probably in June.

The Youth Hall is due to be demolished and so their new home will be the Wickham Community Centre.

The Foodbank team will let us have more details once they have a definite date.

In the meantime they are carefully managing the food stocks to keep the amount that they will need to move to a minimum.

Items needed for next week (13 April 2021) are:

• Part baked bread
• UHT Milk
• Tinned fruit
• Tinned meat pies
• Crackers and savoury biscuits
• Cleaning products including washing up liquid, multi-purpose cleaner
• Washing detergent pods or tablets

Donations can be taken to Droxford Post Office, the outbuilding at Juniper Cottage, Meonstoke (please close the gate) or left in Sainsbury’s, Bishops Waltham.

Donations may taken to the food bank on Tuesday mornings or deposited in one of the local collection boxes [Droxford Post Office and in the outbuilding of Juniper Cottage, Bucks Head Hill, Meonstoke]

let’s stop to consider how the younger generations are.
