The recent CAP Money course that was held during March in Droxford Village Hall is now being repeated at Alpha House.  This second couse is for Alpha House residents only, and Sally Holt reports that this is proving very successful and is very much appreciated by those attending.

 

DROXFORD COUNTRY FAIR
Saturday, 2nd June
12.30 until 4:00 pm
Following the success of recent years, and with your support, the Fair will again be held in Droxford Square and adjacent gardens of the Manor House and Old Rectory. (By kind permission of Mrs Denham and Mr and Mrs Martineau)
Refreshments: Barbecue, teas, Pimms, and ice creams

Musical entertainment: By the excellent Ferdies Friends

Dog Show: See local posters for more information nearer the time. Entries should register at 1:30 pm and the dog show starts at 2:00 pm.

Country crafts: Woodland skills demonstrations, Hampshire Wildlife Trust, The Sustainability Centre, Llamas

Bees:  A chance to see bees in the hive

Wool Spinning:An interesting demonstrationof how wool used to be spun


Stalls: Offering a variety of local produce, bric-a-brac, books etc. Contact Mary Hornby-Patterson to register interest 01489 878800

Games: A range of games for all ages including ferret racing,
coconut shy, darts, splat the rat.

Donkey Rides:  Exciting for the chidren and a great photo opportunity

Swordsmanship Demonstration: And a chnace to try it out

Raffle: Always a popular raffle with excellent prizes
